Housed in a magnificent building on the shore of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, the J. Johnson Gallery captures a level of sophistication typically found in the world's major metropolitan cities. The state-of-the-art gallery space was designed to showcase works ranging from modern masters and established artists to the finest mid-career and emerging artists.

The Gallery has hosted a celebrated array of painting and sculpture, as well as drawings, photography, prints and multimedia installations. In recognition of its growing reputation among artists and collectors, the Gallery has been invited to participate in international art fairs such as ARCO Madrid and Palm Beach 3. In the summer of 2007, J. Johnson Gallery was honored to present the work of acclaimed Mexican sculptor Javier Marín in Italy at the Cornice Venice International Art Fair. This contemporary art fair coincided with the preview of the 52nd Venice Biennale, which for over a century has been one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the world.

To support the connoisseurship of new young talent, the Gallery also hosts experimental works and project pieces by artists in varying mediums, in addition to its quarterly exhibits.
